Georgia assists nearly 700 citizens in Azerbaijan

The government of Georgia has provided aid to 696 citizens temporarily staying and living in Azerbaijan, Report says, referring to the Georgian Foreign Ministry.

The Embassy of Georgia in Azerbaijan provided on-site support to 666 citizens, and 30 citizens of Georgia through the Consulate General in Ganja.

As of April 30, during the coronavirus pandemic, Georgia lent assistance to 17,627 citizens abroad through diplomatic missions, while 8,954 Georgian citizens evacuated to the homeland.
