Baku Metro stations disinfected – Report.az

“As a result of the timely decisions of the President, we observe that Azerbaijan has a better situation with coronavirus than other countries,” Report quotes chairman of Baku Metro Zaur Huseynov.

According to him, all metro stations have been disinfected: “We repeat this process several times a day. Passenger transportation by subway is increasing day by day. Thus, we have 800,000 passengers on weekdays, 600,000 on non-working days, while 450 on the weekend, in other words, an average of 650,000 passengers per day. In the first month of this year, Baku Metro transported 39 million passengers.”

He added that the trains would run on the perfect schedule on weekdays.

“Warning and prohibition notices will be installed at metro stations for the responsibility of metro workers and passengers.”
