A group of citizens staged a protest rally in front of the Central Bank in Armenia against activities of the financial institutions.
The protestors required a meeting with representatives of the Central Bank, Report informs, citing the Armenpress.
The police told the protesters that one person could enter the building and meet with a Central Bank representative. Still, they refused this offer, demanding that the representative of the Central Bank should go out and meet with them.
The police called an end to the rally since it was unauthorized.
According to a police official, two protestors detained on charges of disobeying a lawful order of a police officer.
