​Azerbaijan to attend “Week of Museums of the Turkic World”

The “Week of Museums of the Turkic World” will take place in May within the framework of cooperation between the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and Republican Child and Youth Development Center of the Ministry of education of Azerbaijan, Report says citing the press service of the Turkic Foundation.

The project will organize a daily virtual tour to the museums from May 18 to 24 for the children and youth of the member countries and observers of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation. The tours will start on May 18 at the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum. The schedule of the week will be as follows:

On May 19 – National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan,

On May 20 – Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts,

On May 21 -Troy Museum of Turkey,

On May 22 – State Museum of History of Uzbekistan,

On May 23 -Hungarian National Museum

During this period, young viewers can travel online to the famous museums of the Turkic States, which have an ancient history and rich culture.

The goal of the program is to introduce young people, who are under the quarantine regime imposed due to COVID-19 pandemic, to the museums of the Turkic World. The project also aims to involve them in studying the history, culture, and art of the Turkic countries.
