More than 25 thousand people have tested positive for coronavirus in the United States over the past day, with a death toll exceeding 1.6 thousand.
According to Johns Hopkins University, 25,050 new cases were registered in the United States in the last 24 hours, while the figure was 27,368 the previous day. The pandemic claimed lives of 1,632 over the past day.
According to the University, more than 1,443,397 people have so far contracted coronavirus in the United States, while the total death toll is 87,568.
