Azerbaijan develops concept for domestic tourism growth
Azerbaijan Tourism Association has introduced a concept for “Prospects for the development of domestic tourism in Azerbaijan until 2025,” AzTA told Report.
The Association initiated the concept based on a single platform with proposals and recommendations within the framework of establishing a partnership of the country’s leading tourism organizations and signing a Memorandum of Association.
The concept, which discusses the factors accelerating domestic tourism development in the post-quarantine and post-pandemic periods, puts forward specific proposals for ways out of the situation.
The document defines the strategic goals and objectives of the development of domestic tourism in Azerbaijan until 2025, based on an assessment of Azerbaijan’s tourism potential. The concept aimed at creating a legal, organizational, and economic environment for the development of tourism in the country may serve the implementation of plans, programs, and various projects.
