Azerbaijan and Qatar have great ambitions to develop and strengthen these relations in all areas, especially in the economic, trade, and investment spheres, the Ambassador of Qatar to Azerbaijan Mr. Faisal bin Abdullah Hamad Al Henzab said in his interview to Eurasia Diary.

For this reason, a Joint Economic, Trade and Technical Commission has been established between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan to explore existing opportunities and hold regular meetings to achieve the set goals: “We believe that this desire will end with the realization of common interests and the increase of trade and investment turnover between the countries. In particular, both countries are trying to diversify their economies, which largely based on the oil and gas industry, and the international situation cannot always control prices in this area.”

According to him, Qatar has sent medical aid to many countries during the pandemic and supported the international organizations’ joint efforts: “During this period, Azerbaijan’s support to countries and international organizations is noteworthy.
