Azerbaijan confirms 517 new COVID-19 cases

Azerbaijan has confirmed 517 new COVID-19 cases, while 305 others recovered, Report says, citing Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers. Seven people, who tested positive for the virus, have died.

So far, Azerbaijan has recorded 15,369  positive  cases, 8 364 of those infected have recovered, while 187 lost their lives. 6818 receive treatment in specialized hospitals. Today, 6,980 coronavirus tests were performed in the country.

Since June 21, the authorities have tightened the special quarantine regime in Baku, Sumgait, Ganja, Lankaran, Yevlakh, Masally, Jalilabad, and the Absheron region. Report informs, Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a relevant decision on June 19.
