Azerbaijan-based banks see 8% decline in manat deposits 

As of July 1, 2020, the manat deposits in Azerbaijan-based banks amounted to AZN 8,002.5 million, up 3% from the previous month, down 8.3% from January 1, 2020, up 7.5% compared to a year earlier, Report informs, referring to Central Bank of Azerbaijan. 

In the reporting period, the deposit in foreign currency soared 1.7% to AZN 9,608.9 million, which is 2% less than May 1, 9.6% than the same period of 2019.
