Coronavirus: Which country has reported no cases?

President of North Korean Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly Choe Ryong-Hae visited the border town of Kaesong, which was closed due to COVID-19 outbreak, Interfax informs citing the Korean Central Telegraph Agency.

According to Report, he met with the authorities and instructed to provide food and medicine to residents in need.

North Korea’s official state body, Rodong Sinmun, said no one in the country had ever got infected with the coronavirus.

On June 19, a 24-year-old man crossed the border on the island of Kanhwado on the banks of the Khangan River. He had signs of coronavirus infection.

The anti-epidemic organization of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea said the coronavirus tests of the man who was sent back to North Korea were uncertain. Strict quarantine rules have been applied to him. Authorities are currently trying to identify those who contacted the unlucky deserter.
