Oil Fund increased sale of foreign currency by 47%

In January-July this year, the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) sold exchange sales worth 4 billion 525.7 million US dollars.

According to the Fund, this is 47% more than in the same period last year.

In July alone, SOFAZ’s currency sales amounted to $515.5 million. It is 18.5% more than in July the previous year.

Notably, in the first seven months of 2019, the Fund sold $3 billion 78.5 million.
