Assistant to President: Cafes and restaurants may open in the coming weeks

“The Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers is considering to open outdoor cafes and restaurants, and the restoration of access to the regions in the coming weeks,” Report quotes, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahmar Movsumov, as saying.

“Taking such steps will depend on the epidemiological situation,” he stated. 

Considering the decreasing number of COVID-19 cases and the need to strengthen economic activity, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers decided to allow operation in some production, trade, and service areas.

Restrictions on the engagement of 50 percent of employees and the number of permits issued to those working under a civil contract in such work and service areas not exceeding 30 percent of the total number of employees working under an employment contract are abolished.
