Foreign Ministry: Armenia must stop trying Azerbaijan’s patience

Following the failure of Armenia’s July 12-16 attack on Azerbaijani positions on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in the direction of the Tovuz region to implement an aggressive military strategy aimed at a “new war for new territories”, the country’s military-political leadership continues its provocative steps and provocative statements to compensate for the failure of the latest military adventure and divert attention from the growing socio-economic and political crisis in the country. All this is a clear demonstration of Armenia’s intention not to eliminate the consequences of the conflict, but to strengthen the occupation situation created by the use of illegal force.

Report says, citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry’s press service, that the Armenian side has stated its intention to relocate some so-called “official bodies” to Shusha through the illegal regime created in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.

This despicable intention regarding the Shusha, which is of exceptional importance to the Azerbaijan people in terms of its cultural, historical, and spiritual features, is another attempt to strengthen the policy of ethnic cleansing in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.

Armenia is taking steps to change the Sarsang Reservoir infrastructure in the context of illegal economic and other activities in Azerbaijan’s occupied territories. Since the occupation of Azerbaijani territories, Armenia has been using the Sarsang Reservoir as an instrument of environmental terror, depriving Azerbaijani citizens living near our occupied territories of water resources, resulting in severe damage to the ecological situation in those areas and biodiversity.

Armenia must stop try the international community’s patience, especially the Azerbaijani state and society, with its provocative illegal activities and statements.
