Azerbaijan launches “Where is Karabakh” platform
Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) has launched the website WhereisKarabakh.com, Report states, citing ATB.
The purpose of the platform is to show the world the geographical location of Karabakh and inform about the history, culture, and sights of the region.
ATB Chief Executive Officer Florian Sengstschmid commented on the website: “Favorable climate and relief of the Karabakh region allow the development of various types of tourism products here. Before that, it is important to inform the whole world about the rich history, cultural monuments and nature of this magnificent region. The creation of the website has this mission.”
After visiting the website with a simple interface, users can select any country on the world map and see the distance to the territory, and get information about the origin of the toponym “Karabakh,” the history of the region, monuments, celebrities, mugham and carpet weaving, Karabakh horses and nature.
In the information window, visitors to the website are invited to proceed to the Azerbaijan.travel platform on Karabakh for more details.
