TABIB: Vaccination process is underway
According to the Cabinet of Ministers’ order dated January 16, 2021, by the “Strategy for Vaccination against COVID-19 in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2021-2022”, the vaccination process is underway for citizens over 65 years of age from February 8.
Report informs, citing TABIB, the country has taken all necessary measures for the organization of the vaccination process with high quality to combat COVID-19 infection. Registration, vaccination and post-vaccination waiting rooms have been set up in the medical centers. All rooms are equipped with the necessary medical and hygienic equipment.
According to the Order No. 377s of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 21, 2020, the Ministry of Health, the Mandatory Medical Insurance Agency, and TABIB work together to fight against the pandemic. To optimize the vaccination process, the Ministry of Health carries out the process in Baku, while TABIB in the cities of Absheron, Sumgayit, and regions of the country.
Notably, Azerbaijan started the vaccination process began on January 18.
