British Export Minister expects to deepen economic ties with Azerbaijan

“Good morning, Baku! I have arrived in Azerbaijan. We are looking forward to deepening our trade and economic relations,” UK Exports Minister Graham Stuart wrote on Twitter.

According to him, today, the Governments of Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom will hold the 4th meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation in Baku.

The meeting will discuss the work done since the 3rd meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and to expand existing cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom in the fields of energy, renewable energy and energy efficiency, economy, agriculture, transport, communications, environment, education, health, tourism, culture, and other issues.

The commission’s co-chairs are Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov and the British Parliamentary Representative of the Secretary of State, Minister of Export Graham Stuart.
