Work underway to create additional water resources in Karabakh

Azerbaijan Amelioration and Water Management OJSC is conducting an assessment of the creation of additional water sources in the liberated Zangilan, Gubadli, and Jabrayil regions, Report informs, citing Rafig Aslanov, deputy chairman of the organization.

“Along with these regions, there are additional water sources in the Kalbajar region. Besides Tartarchay, there are Basitchay, Hakarichay, Bazarchay. We are trying to take measures to collect water there. We have done some work on this, and we want to present it to the government next week. For example, the water of the Hakarichay is clean, and we envisage the construction of a reservoir in the clean water part of the river that does not pass through the territory of our hateful neighbors. We can build a reservoir with a capacity of 130 million cubic meters,” he added.
