External liabilities of Azerbaijani banks shrink by 5%

As of August 1, 2021, external liabilities of Azerbaijani banks amounted to over AZN 1,084.2 million.

Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, that this figure is 4.7% less than on July 1.

The volume of external liabilities decreased by 11.2% compared to the beginning of the year and by 23.6% compared to August 1 of last year.
