Chairman of the Azerbaijani State Tourism Agency Fuad Naghiyev and Director General of the Katara Cultural Village Foundation Khalid Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti discussed prospects for the development of tourism relations between Azerbaijan and Qatar, mutual exchange of tourists, and experience in cultural heritage management,
Naghiyev spoke about the activities of the reserves under the auspices of the Tourism Agency, projects, and plans for the conservation of heritage samples there.
He also stressed that Qatar is one of the target tourism markets for Azerbaijan and said he would be pleased to see Azerbaijan at festivals in Katara to promote the country’s tourism potential.
Khalid Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti said that the Katara Cultural Village is the most visited place in Qatar and hosts many international, regional, and local festivals, seminars, and exhibitions.
Al-Sulaiti gave detailed information about the Azerbaijan-related events held in the village, noting that they are always ready to provide the necessary support for the organization of events dedicated to Azerbaijan.
The head of the foundation invited Azerbaijan to participate in these festivals to promote tourism opportunities.
Qatar is among the 42 countries whose travel restrictions have been lifted due to the positive dynamics in the epidemiological situation.
