Azerbaijan, France to sign document on demining 

On September 20, Chairman of the Board of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) Vugar Suleymanov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Azerbaijan Zakari Gross, Report informs, citing ANAMA.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on humanitarian demining operations carried out by ANAMA in the liberated territories.

The primary purpose of the visit was to allocate financial support to the demining activities of the French Republic in Azerbaijan and the directions of support in this area.

The two sides are expected to sign a document envisaging areas such as support for demining operations, assistance to mine victims, and awareness-raising projects on the dangers of explosives.
