NATO to strengthen partnership with Georgia, Ukraine – Secretary General

“The issue of strengthening cooperation with Georgia and Ukraine will be discussed at the NATO summit in Madrid,” NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, according to Report‘s local bureau.

According to him, it is too early to talk about what decisions will be made at the summit.

The NATO chief voiced confidence that allies will support the decisions made so far, as well as the Euro-Atlantic efforts of Georgia and Ukraine.

The Secretary General noted that NATO will continue to strengthen cooperation and partnership with Ukraine and Georgia. The date of the Madrid summit is still unknown. The date is expected to be announced soon.
