Russia backs ensuring geopolitical stability in South Caucasus – spokesperson

“Our principled position is obvious. We proceed from the priority nature of tasks to ensure geopolitical stability and security in the South Caucasus region,” the Russian bureau of Report informs that Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said this at a weekly briefing.

The diplomat also recalled the proposed initiative to create a “3+3” format, which will resolve existing issues in the region.

“Our country is pursuing an appropriate comprehensive policy, including by maintaining dialogue with all regional players,” concluded Zakharova.
