Azerbaijan’s active COVID case count drops below 12,500

Azerbaijan has recorded 1,032 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 1,043 people recovered from the infection, and 10 patients succumbed to the deadly pathogen.

Overall, the country has reported 492,179 cases of infection, 473,023 recoveries, and 6,664 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 12,492 people are receiving treatment.

Azerbaijan has conducted 4,952,737 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 8,385 today.
