Armenia’s provocation serves to increase regional tension – official Baku

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has sharply condemned the terrorist and provocative actions of the illegal Armenian formations in the zone of temporary deployment of the Russian peacekeepers, who today killed an Azerbaijani soldier, Report informs, citing the Foreign Ministry.

The Foreign Ministry stressed that such a step is a gross violation of the obligations that Armenia has assumed under the trilateral statement of November 10, 2020.

“The provocation of Armenia serves to increase tension in the region,” the ministry says.

The ministry added that the provocation committed during the meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia demonstrates Armenia’s revanchist position and is an attempt to interfere with the activities of the Russian peacekeepers.
