Azerbaijan’s active COVID case count on rise

Azerbaijan has recorded 1,896 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 764 people recovered from the infection, and 19 patients succumbed to the deadly pathogen.

Overall, the country has reported 502,207 cases of infection, 478,403 recoveries, and 6,765 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 17,039 people are receiving treatment.

Azerbaijan has conducted 5,025,402 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 11,261 today.
