Ilham Aliyev to Erdogan: Everyone in Azerbaijan loves you, holds you in high esteem

“From the first hours to the last minutes of the second Karabakh war, Turkey was next to Azerbaijan,” President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said this on October 26 in Zangilan at a joint press conference with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“My dear brother, the esteemed president from the first hours supported Azerbaijan. He showed the whole world that Azerbaijan is not alone, Turkey is next to Azerbaijan. This has provided us with tremendous support – political and moral support. This gave us additional strength. Today, the Azerbaijani people are expressing their gratitude to you, dear brother. You know that everyone in Azerbaijan loves you, holds you in high esteem. You have done a great job for our Victory,” the president added.
