Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan to cooperate on economic reforms

A memorandum was signed between the Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication (CERAC) of Azerbaijan and the Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CERR) under the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan.

The memorandum was inked by the CERAC Executive Director Vusal Gasimli and Head of CERR Obid Hakimov.

The document envisages joint research and analysis, organization of seminars and events, a study of scholarship programs, and implementation of mutually beneficial projects.

The delegation led by the head of the CERR head Obid Hakimov held a meeting at the Presidential Administration, the Milli Majlis, and various organizations. The purpose of the Uzbek delegation’s visit to Azerbaijan is to study the development model of successful economic reforms in the country.
