Russian FM urges to launch process of delimitation of Azerbaijani-Armenian border

Russia considers it important to start the process of delimitation of the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia as soon as possible, as the Russian bureau of Report informs, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova told her briefing.

“The latest events confirm the importance of the earliest start of the delimitation process and subsequent demarcation of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, as well as the beginning of the work of the relevant commission,” Maria Zakharova said.

“Russia is in contact with both Azerbaijan and Armenia to transfer the situation to a peaceful channel,” the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson added.
