Ashgabat Declaration congratulates Azerbaijan on liberation of occupied territories
“We believe that Azerbaijan’s liberation of its occupied territories and restoration of territorial integrity will pave the way for sustainable peace and economic prosperity in the Caucasus region through the establishment of good-neighborly relations,” reads the Ashgabat Consensus for Action (Ashgabat Declaration) adopted at the 15th ECO Summit held in Turkmenistan on Nov. 28, Report informs.
In the document, the ECO congratulated the Azerbaijani Government and the people on the liberation of the occupied territories and restoration of territorial integrity.
The document encourages the ECO Member States to explore the opportunities to invest in rebuilding and reconstruction projects in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
The fact that reports adopted within the Economic Cooperation Organization include the phrase “corridor in the documents signed by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Russia, and Armenia” is a clear example of the successful promotion and adoption of the concept Zangazur corridor in the ECO region.
