Elchin Guliyev: President instructs over funeral of killed servicemen

“President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva have given relevant instructions over further investigation into the details of the incident, the funeral of the killed servicemen and the treatment of the wounded. The funeral will take place tomorrow after agreeing with the parents of the killed servicemen,” Report informs, citing the chief of the State Border Service (SBS) Colonel-General Elchin Guliyev.

Elchin Guliyev added that in accordance with the legislation, the servicemen, who died during the military exercises, are granted the status of martyrs: “The legislation provides for the automatic granting of the status of martyrs to the servicemen, who died during the military exercises.”
