UNESCO is working to send a fact-finding mission to the liberated territories of Azerbaijan and Karabakh, the organization’s press service told Report.
“We are currently working on the establishment of this mission in Karabakh. We hope that this will be possible soon, but there are no necessary conditions at the moment. We are trying to get detailed information on the subject,” said UNESCO.
In his recent speeches, Minister of Culture Anar Karimov said that talks were underway on the visit of the UNESCO mission to the liberated territories: “The technical details of the conditions of Azerbaijan and the organization of this mission had been provided to UNESCO. The organization must decide on the issue. We expect them to take a fair and impartial position on this matter.”
