Weapons left by retreating Armenians found in Fuzuli

Necessary measures are being taken by representatives of relevant government agencies, including law enforcement officers, to clear the Azerbaijani liberated areas of mines and other explosive devices and collect weapons thrown by retreating Armenian military units, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Internal Affairs Ministry.

As a result of control and preventive measures carried out by the Fuzuli District Police Department, various weapons and ammunition were found at the positions left by the Armenian military units.

Police officers discovered one mortar device, one assault rifle, one grenade launcher, 56 grenade launcher shells, 22 hand grenades, 21 explosives, one communication device, 20 boxes, 1,600 cartridges, 124 pieces 30 mm shells and other ammunition and handed them over to the relevant government authorities.
