Azerbaijani, Russian premiers discuss trade and economic cooperation

Azerbaijani and Russian Prime Ministers Ali Asadov and Mikhail Mishustin respectively discussed trade and economic cooperation between the two countries in a telephone conversation, Report informs citing TASS.

The two men paid special attention to the issues of immunizing the population from coronavirus, the Russian Cabinet of Ministers reports.

“The heads of governments discussed topical issues of the development of the Russian-Azerbaijani trade and economic cooperation, including the implementation of joint projects in various sectors, as well as integration cooperation in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Particular attention was paid to countering coronavirus infection and mass immunization of the population,” the statement said.

The prime ministers also noted the importance of the activities of the trilateral working group of the deputy prime ministers of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia to unblock transport and economic ties in the South Caucasus.
