Azerbaijani national academy to hold general meeting

The general meeting of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) is scheduled for February 19, Report informs, citing Azada Babayeva, spokesperson for the Presidium of the Academy, that the composition of the meeting participants is currently being specified.

According to her, depending on the final number of participants, a decision will be made to hold a general meeting, and after that, the agenda of the meeting will be announced.

On February 14, ANAS President Ramiz Mehdiyev announced his resignation.
