“Khojaly genocide” march in Baku
In connection with the 30th anniversary of the bloody tragedy that entered the history of mankind in the twentieth century as the Khojaly genocide Bakuis also holding a nationwide march.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva took part in the march.
The marchers arrived at the site of the Khojaly monument erected in Khatai district.
President Ilham Aliyev laid a wreath at the monument to the Khojaly genocide and paid tribute to the memory of the victims of the tragedy.
First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, Prime Minister Ali Asadov, Milli Chairman of the Assembly Sahiba Gafarova, President The head of the administration, Samir Nuriyev, laid flowers at the monument.
Participants of the national march laid fresh flowers in front of the monument.
