Will privatization checks be reused?

The State Property Service (SPS) has clarified allegations that privatization vouchers (shares) will be reused.

It was reported by the State Property Committee that, State privatization shares (checks) were issued in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated March 25, 1996 “On issuance of state privatization shares (checks) in the Republic of Azerbaijan”.

Thus, state privatization vouchers have lost their importance as a security and any right of citizens to use those checks and or it is not possible to make a profit.

Based on the above, the rumors about the re-use of privatization vouchers by the State Tax Inspectorate to deceive people and their trustevaluates it as a step towards abuse and urges citizens not to believe such rumors.
