Two districts were abolished in Azerbaijan

President Ilham Aliyev approved the law “On partial changes in the administrative division of the city of Ganja.”

According to the amendment, Kapaz is a part of Ganja city and Nizami districts were liquidated and removed from the State Register of Territorial Units of Azerbaijan.

As part of the abolished Nizami district 1 and Area No. 2 administrative-territorial districts, respectively, within the city of Ganja 1 and Area No. 2 is considered to be an administrative district.

As part of the abolished Kapaz district 1 and Area 2 administrative districts, Javadkhan settlement, Hajikand settlement, Mahsati settlement, Netavan settlement, Sadilli settlement, Shikhzamanli settlement administrative territorial districts respectively within Ganja city 3 and Area No. 4 is considered to be administrative territorial districts, Javadkhan settlement, Hajikand settlement, Mahsati settlement, Netavan settlement, Sadilli settlement, Shikhzamanli settlement administrative territorial districts.
