122-year-old “Old Bath” – a historical monument built by Seyid is on the verge of destruction

The 122-year-old historic bathhouse is on the verge of destruction.

The “Old Bath” located on Mohammad Fuzuli Street in Sabirabad was built and put into operation in 1900 by Seyid Mirmusa Tagiyev. The bath is included in the list of monuments protected by the state as a historical and architectural monument of local importance.

Mirmusa Tagiyev’s grandson Aga Tagiyev noted that, the bathroom is very neglected and The appeals to the relevant agencies on the issue were not answered positively. Mirismayil Tagiyev said that the historical bath was inherited by his great-grandfather Mirmusa Tagiyev and that he had been fighting for years to preserve the architectural monument.
