The British Defense Minister has arrived in Kiev

A statement from the British Ministry of Defense said that the parties discussed “common goals” such as the liberation of Ukraine from occupation.
British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace arrived in Kyiv on June 10 to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov.
During these meetings, Britain’s military, political and humanitarian support to Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression was discussed.
A statement from the British Ministry of Defense said:
“This week’s working visit will allow the defense minister to learn about the operational needs of the Ukrainian armed forces, so the nature of the conflict continues to change. This visit will allow Britain’s assistance to Ukraine to meet the needs of Ukraine and the changing situation. “
The Guardian reports that Wallace met with Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov on June 10.
A statement from the British Ministry of Defense further said that the parties discussed “common goals” such as the liberation of Ukraine from occupation.
The meeting also discussed the current state of Britain’s support for Ukraine with weapons and training.
It is reported that the parties agreed that Britain will continue to provide military and political support to Ukraine.
In a video broadcast on Zelensky’s Telegram channel, Wallace expressed admiration for the president’s “amazing” performance.

In a conversation with Wallace, President Zelensky “thanked the United Kingdom, its government and its prime minister.”
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited Kiev two months ago.

Meanwhile, British Foreign Secretary Liz Trass called the sentencing of two Britons to death in the so-called separatist Donetsk People’s Republic in Ukraine a “gross violation” of the Geneva Conventions.
According to SkyNews, Ms. Trass discussed the issue over the phone with her Ukrainian counterpart Dmitry Kuleba.
During the conversation, they discussed ways to “release the captives from the Russian-backed separatists.”
Ms. Trass also said that Britain would continue to support Ukraine in its fight against “Putin’s brutal intervention.”
