The Georgian president was not allowed to visit Ukraine
The Georgian government did not allow President Salome Zurabishvili to visit Poland, Ukraine and France.
The statement came from the head of state, who is on a working visit to Brussels.
The President said that during his visits to the three countries he planned to hold talks on granting Georgia the status of a candidate for EU membership: “I was told that the government has done everything to support the process of obtaining status.”
Zurabishvili noted that Georgia has no future other than Europe: “I will return to Georgia and defend this future there.”
