The work and temporary residence permit of the editor-in-chief and producer is revoked
Antonava Tryzno Veranika, editor-in-chief of Sputnik Azerbaijan, and Pavel Antonov, producer of the media outlet and her husband, were denied temporary residence permits in Azerbaijan and their temporary residence permits were revoked.
According to the State Migration Service, both Belarusian citizens are obliged to leave the country within 10 days.
Thus, according to Article 62 of the Law on Administrative Procedure, the decision is considered to have reached the address 10 days after its publication in the media.
Both men are Belarusian citizens.
The information was confirmed to Oxu.Az by Elnur Kalantarli, Deputy Chief of the Public Relations Department of the State Migration Service. He said that the appeals of these people to extend their work permits were rejected.
It should be noted that the residence permit is automatically revoked during the cancellation of an application for an extension of a work permit in the country.
