The winners of the CTF2022 competition for information security professionals have been announced

The award ceremony of the winners of the CTF (Capture the flag) competition was held on June 10, 2022 at the HYATT REGENCY hotel. The competition provided an opportunity for cyber security professionals across the country to test their mettle. The CTF format allows professionals to assess their skills and competencies in attacking and protecting computer systems.

Gurban Zeynalov, head of SmartIT, the initiators of the competition, and Chingiz Safarli, head of Kapital Bank’s CyberSecurity department, noted that the participants were developing both in terms of quantity and quality, and had a good level of preparation.

A comprehensive master class on information security was held for the participants.

There were active discussions, exchange of views and solutions on topical issues of cyber security.

More than 50 teams took part in the competition, and as a result, the third place was taken by v.txt, the second place was taken by NULL Team, and the first place was taken by n0_pwn1c. The winners were awarded with official diplomas and prizes.

The event, now in its fourth year, not only helps identify the most promising information security professionals in the country, but also provides a place to meet and exchange views, the most reliable source of information on markets and technology developments in areas related to information security.

The organizers of the competition were SmartIT and Kapital Bank Cybersecurity Team, and their partners were BAKOTECH and SOFTPROM.
