Boris Johnson has returned to Kiev

The talks focused on the supply of heavy weapons and air defense systems to Ukraine, support for Ukraine, new sanctions against Russia and security guarantees.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson arrived in Kiev on June 17 without prior announcement.
Johnson met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Both Zelensky and Johnson shared photos from the meeting on social networks.

This is Boris Johnson’s second visit to Kiev since Russia’s large-scale military intervention in Ukraine began.
He had previously visited Kiev on April 9. At that time, Russian troops had been retreating around Kyiv for several days.
The head of Ukraine’s presidential administration, Andriy Yermak, said the talks focused on the supply of heavy weapons and air defense systems to Ukraine, support for Ukraine, new sanctions against Russia and security guarantees.

To ensure the victory of Ukraine
On behalf of the British government, Johnson proposed a training program for Ukrainian servicemen on British soil.
According to the Prime Minister, Britain can train up to 10,000 Ukrainian servicemen in four months.
Johnson said London wants a turnaround in the war.
Britain has taken a very hard line on Russia’s actions.
London has so far provided Kiev with hundreds of millions of dollars in weapons and intends to increase its supply.
British officials have repeatedly stated that the purpose of supporting Ukraine is to ensure its victory in this war.
The day before, the leaders of four EU member states – Germany, France, Italy and Romania – visited Kiev.
