How much does it cost to rent a plane in Azerbaijan?
The already denied information about the ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva’s rental of a plane for 30,000 manat to get to and from Fizuli has raised one issue: how is the rental of planes and helicopters in our country and how much?
ASG Business Aviation, established in 2007, is the largest aviation center organizing private trips to the regions of Azerbaijan.
ASG Business Aviation has 5 private aircraft on its balance sheet: Atr 42-500 and 4 Golfstream (G450, G280, G550 and G650).
In response to a price inquiry from ASG Business Aviation, it was stated that flights are calculated according to the direction, date and number of passengers:
“The airline only operates charter flights, so there is no single price. For example, the cost of a charter flight Baku-Fuzuli-Baku on ATR 42-500 is 18,000 USD (30,600 manat).
ASG Helicopter Service, located at Zabrat Airport, owns Sikorsky S-92A, Leonardo Helicopters AW139, AW109SP, MI 8 AMT, Airbus Helicopters AS-332L1, Airbus Helicopters EC-155B1, as well as Cessna 172S helicopters.
Regarding helicopter flights, the company said that the air transport operates only charter flights to domestic regions:
“Helicopter tours are not allowed. Prices vary depending on the direction. For example, the cost of a charter flight Zabrat-Guba-Zabrat is 12,000 manat. This price includes 2 hours of free waiting for the helicopter. If the customer is delayed for more than 2 hours, he must pay extra, otherwise the helicopter will return.
The company also said that currently there is no helicopter rental service. The VIP helicopter on the balance is not currently operating. (axar.az)
