The statement came from Finance Minister Samir Sharifov.
According to him, on this basis, the state intends to take additional flexible measures in this area.
“In accordance with the instructions of the President of Azerbaijan, the government is developing and implementing certain anti-inflation measures. Most of them are related to the elimination of existing customs duties and certain taxes on food products imported to Azerbaijan. That is, relevant decisions are made in this regard. “As a result of the implementation of these decisions, we believe that at least by eliminating the increase in the prices of those products, which fall to the share of the Azerbaijani government, there will be a slight decrease in prices,” said Samir Sharifov.
