Will Norway be able to replace Russia?
Following Russia’s four-month large-scale military intervention in independent Ukraine, Norway will increase gas production and supplies to the European Union.
The statement came from European Commission Executive Vice President Frans Timmermans and Norwegian Energy Minister Terje Aslan.
It was stated that this decision was made to compensate for the reduction of supplies from Russia.
