Ambassador Vasil Bodnar writes on Twitter:
“We are the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraineflour with instructions Turkey We have requested to take appropriate measures. I am sure that the measures to be taken of Ukraine will prevent attempts to violate the territorial integrity”.
The ambassador does not write what the cargo on the ship consists of.
The website Marinetraffic.com, which monitors the movement of ships, writes that the 140-meter ship Zhibek Zholy sails under the Russian flag.
According to the website, that ship anchored 1 kilometer from Karasu port on the Black Sea coast of Turkey on July 1.
A ship sailing to a “friendly country”.
Yevgeny Balitsky, the head of the administration appointed by Moscow to the occupied Zaporozhye region, wrote in Telegram on June 30 that a commercial ship carrying 7,000 tons of grain left the port of Berdyansk.
He said that the ship was headed to one of the “friendly countries”.
The letter submitted to the Ministry of Justice of Turkey on June 30 states that the ship Zhibek Zholy has removed “stolen Ukrainian grain” from the port of Berdyansk.
Last month, Bodnar accused Turkey of buying stolen Ukrainian grain from Russia.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu promised to investigate the allegations regarding the transportation of stolen grain to Turkey.
But the minister also said that such cases have not been registered yet.
The occupying administration appointed by Moscow to the region announced that state infrastructure was nationalized and grain was purchased from local farmers.
