“Sermon to Fishes” will be shown at “Locarno” Film Festival

Azerbaijani director Hilal Baydarov’s film “Sermon to Fishes” was included in the main competition program of the 75th “Locarno” Film Festival.

Azerbaijanthe screenplay co-produced by Mexico, Switzerland and Turkey was selected from among 3,500 films.

The authors of the script are Hilal Baydarov and Aysu Akcan.

The film “Sermon to Fishes” was one of the winners of the competition held by TRT channel of Turkey some time ago.

“Locarno” Film Festival is one of the most important film festivals in Switzerland and one of the most famous in Europe.

The fourth most important after “Cannes”, “Venice” and “Berlin”. Europe is considered a film festival.

Since 1946, “Locarno” has been held every August in Locarno, Switzerland.

The main award of the festival is “Golden Leopard” awarded for “Best film”.

This year’s “Locarno” Film Festival will last from August 3 to 13.
