The Chainsmokers say they will be the first band to perform in space.
The group issued a statement about this.
It is reported that the duet of Andrew Taggart and Alex Poll will be realized in 2024.
The musicians signed a contract with the “World View” space tourism company.
Performers will be placed in a hermetic capsule to perform.
“We have always wanted to go to space and experience this excitement, adventure, and new experience. We know that the view of the Earth from space is extraordinary and inspiring. Therefore, we are thinking of using this flight in our future creative projects,” the group said it is said.
“The Chainsmokers” EDM (Electronic Dance Music) pop group was formed in 2012.
The Grammy Award-winning DJ group consists of two people – Andrew Taggart and Alex Poll.
Among the famous songs of the group are “Selfie”, “Closer”, “Paris”.
