Which of our organs should we pay attention to the most? |

Too hot even for the summer season weather it has already caused fires, people leaving their homes, and air pollution in many countries. A few days ago, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources National The Hydrometeorological Service, and today the Ministry of Emergency Situations warned that the air temperature will rise to 42-44° and occasional strong winds will be observed.

Both high temperature and air pollution can damage our organs and trigger certain diseases. Examples include cancer, stroke and heart attack.

A well-known professor in the field of organ transplantation in the world and in Turkey, who made a statement about the issue Bulent Aydinli said that excessive heat first affects the skin:

“At this time, if thirst continues, the kidneys and other organs listed below may have negative effects.

Leather

Exposure to direct sunlight on hot days can cause significant skin damage from ultraviolet (UV) rays. The more the body is exposed to sunburn, the more likely a person is to develop skin cancer.

In addition, excessive amounts of UV can damage the DNA of skin cells, and as the damage increases, the cells can become dysfunctional, resulting in skin cancer.

Brain

Recent studies have shown that in extremely hot conditions, brain functions slow down and people have difficulty thinking clearly. In addition, extreme temperatures can cause the accumulation of proteins and ions in the brain, which leads to inflammation. Another important issue is that extreme heat also has a negative effect on mental health, and people can be more irritable during such days.

Lungs

Another negative effect of hot air can be experienced in the lungs. High temperature is often accompanied by stagnation of air. Added to this are harmful fumes from vehicles, power plants and factories, and the level of pollution in the ozone layer increases.

Heart

As the body heats up, blood vessels dilate, which lowers blood pressure. When blood pressure drops, the heart has to work harder to circulate blood throughout the body, so the heart beats faster. Fatigue of the heart during this process can cause him to have a heart attack.”

B. Aydinli noted that elderly people should be especially careful in extreme heat:

“Because that’s the way it is weather It can have a very serious negative effect on the brain functions of elderly people. First of all, they should pay attention to this and take plenty of water.” (oku.az)
